Having a busy life doesn't have to mean you can't find time to ride your mountain bike. The other morning I was up at 6 and instead of my usual run, I jumped on my mountain bike and hit the single track...
It's been over a year since I last rode at Swinley, but last Saturday I ventured out on my own and was fortunate enough to tag along with a couple of locals for a guided tour of the best bits. There...
Being new to Surrey, I've been taking every opportunity to get out on the mountain bike and explore my local areas. In 2007 I spent two months riding the best bike park and surrounding areas you could imagine in Whistler. I became a much better rider because of it and came away with many friends. This video was the second video I shot at Whistler on..you guessed it, Day 3. I was 18.5st (252lbs) when this video was shot. I'm in it a little but so are others. A good sample of some of the trails accessible from the Garbanzo lift!
I spent the day riding the Whistler Bike Park with ladies man Phil Grundy. He was a rad and smooth rider and all round top bloke. I was following down various trails with the camera on my head.
Whistler in 2007 was epic. A trip to CwmCarn the following spring with the people I met and loved so much. We were so lucky to get a bone dry day. It made the CwmCarn down hill tril sublime and so fast. Lift services were supplied by CwmDown. Cwmcarn/CwmDown - May 2008 from bikedibley.com on Vimeo.
